intro to shotgun
Offered through Skeet School
Who’s It For?
No PAL? No shotgun? No experience? No problem. Offered through Skeet School.
License, firearm, nor experience are required for those looking to start their journey in shotgun sports. I can make arrangements to lend you one of my shotguns to use for the duration the lesson. Firearm safety and handling is taught, as well as a fitting to know how to hold it and stand properly. We’ll go try some shots on a course called Sporting Clays so you get the feel of a shotgun and what it is like to hit targets. Throughout the course are a variety of different targets to shoot so you will be able to get the full experience of the joy of shooting. Lessons are booked in minimum 2 hour blocks for you to be able to retain the knowledge without rushing.
Maximum of 1 lesson may be booked; further lessons can be booked within the “Beginner Shooters” category.
Equipment Required:
Weather-appropriate clothes — I recommend dressing in layers as you will work up a sweat!
Closed-toed shoes — Running shoes or other weather-appropriate shoes will suffice. Absolutely no sandals for safety reasons
Eye protection: Sunglasses, regular glasses, or safety glasses
